-The bell did indeed ring, and the entire class had filed out, before Renko set her hand on Yumemi's shoulder to stop her, and when turned to, the younger of the two scientists would find a knowing grin on Renko's face.-

Thanks for the favor. You got us both out of a situation neither of us seemed to want to be in. Am I right?

-Aka Yumemi had occupied the class so thoroughly that Renko had been spared further embrassment, and Yumemi further boredom. Or at least Renko assumed Yumemi had enjoyed proving her superiority to her peers.-
